The Department of Mechanical Engineering is established in the year 1980. The course of three year duration and intake capacity sixty students per year. Presently 06 Laboratories viz

1. Mechanical Testing Lab.
2. Computer Lab.
3. Basic Work Shop Practice.
4. Machine Shop.
5. Fluid Mechanics and Pneumatics Lab.
6. Thermal Engineering Lab, are established by the department.

The Department also interacts with the department of Mechanical Engineering of Maratha Mandal Engineering college. The Department also has a Library and a reading room for the benefit of its students.
